Ibrahima GUIMBA-SAÏDOU is the current Director General of the National Agency for the Information Society (ANSI). He is also a minister, special adviser to the President of the Republic and administrator of Niger Telecom, the national operator of Niger. Mr. Guimba-Saïdou has more than 20 years of experience in the international telecommunications industry sector. He specializes in strategy, operations planning and management, market sizing, marketing, business planning, as well as sales and market development. He joined the government of Niger in November 2016 as High Commissioner (within the cabinet) in charge of Information and Communication Technologies. He is responsible for the government's digital strategy and its implementation, as well as the development of favorable conditions for the ICT ecosystem.
